The event calendar is action packed, full of activities and interesting presentations, something for everyone. It is a fabulous way for residents to connect, socialize and get to know our new residents too.

As we look to November there are some wonderful events happening with the Melbourne Cup function in the Lodge. A dance and a sing along at the Spring Fling event, with a potluck dinner and a little bit of country and a little bit of rock n roll. Always a popular night out for everyone to enjoy.

The fashion parade extravaganza event delighted everyone. The beautiful clothing from Kim’s Kihikihi clothing store, “Looking Good”, was stunning, with the models doing a fantastic job showcasing the new fashions for the season. The bridal gowns that featured were breath taking with our very own resident Colleen Cullen modelling and wearing her wedding gown. What a showstopper!  There was also a wonderful display of wedding photos from our residents and staff. It was so special to see and bought the whole village together. Thank you to Kim from the  Looking Good store for all the preparations and beautiful clothing. Thank you to the staff for helping with the logistics and set up. And  last but not least a huge thank you to the Highfield Social Committee for organising such a successful event.
