The weather certainly has been interesting with cold, foggy mornings morphing into some beautiful winter days.

The stoic residents who work and harvest the produce from the vegetable gardens are to be commended for their time, expertise and cold fingers during the chilly winter months. Everyone enjoys the fruits (or vegetables in this case)of their labour, it’s wonderful to have such beautiful fresh produce, so thank you!

Highfield is very  fortunate to have a qualified and  creative builder, our very personable maintenance manager Mark. When looking around the village it is wonderful to see Mark’s work on show. The fabulous and well utilised steps to help the bowlers on the green, the mobility scooter ramp for tyre inflation and the nursery that was built for the garden team, to name a few.  Thank you Mark for your wealth of knowledge and expertise.

The Highfield pool tournament is an incredible event. The finals have just been played with everyone sitting on the edge of their seats. What a wonderful way to bring the village together through healthy competition and camaraderie. A huge congratulations to the winners and to everyone that competed. It was a wonderful spectacle for all those who watched. Thank you to the organisers and referees who worked so hard to make the event such a success.
